The Barn

Our custom designed wedding barn is set within the grounds of a stunning 1826 Mill House.

Nestled deep in the Cumbrian Countryside with 6 luxury lodges & hot tubs it is the perfect place for your intimate weekend wedding retreat.

Accommodating up to 90 day guests and 120 evening guests.

  • Me and my partner recently got married at Carwinley Barn and we honestly couldn't have asked for a more beautiful, more romantic venue! We got married outside, overlooking the stream with the tranquil noise of water in the background, which was just incredible! We had our drinks reception outside in the glorious sunshine, before moving into the barn for our wedding breakfast, which was decorated beautifully! We are so privileged to have been the first wedding at this stunning venue! Our guests are still talking about how gorgeous the venue is....and a few of them even asked if the lodges were up for sale haha! Thank you Carwinley for the most magical day!! - Leah
